Getting started
How do I create an account?
Choose Create account, enter your email and a password of at least 10 characters, and confirm the password. Open the confirmation email once, then return to Daypsalm and sign in with that email and password. The email can be opened in another browser.
Create an accountWill I need an email link every time?
No. After confirming your email, use your password to sign in. Email is used again only when you request a password reset or another confirmation link.
I cannot sign in, or the email did not arrive.
Check the email spelling and spam folder. On the confirmation page you can resend after the countdown or change the address. An expired or already used link needs a new request. If you previously used email links without setting a password, choose Forgot password.
Your daily card
How does choosing a card work?
Sign in, select one of the three cards, then choose Reveal my card. Your card is saved before it is revealed. Refreshing, replaying the animation, or using another device returns the same card. The result is a starting point for Scripture reflection, not a prediction.
When can I draw another card?
At midnight in your account’s daily card timezone. You can view or change it in Me. A change starts after the next reset and does not immediately grant another card. Dates already in your library are not redrawn. Our starting collection has 30 reviewed reflections; after you have seen them, older passages can return for a fresh reading.
Can I return to a card or save a favorite?
Library keeps your previous draws. Use Favorite on a card, then the Favorites filter in Library. You can also search titles, themes, and dates. If content is withdrawn, its text becomes unavailable; your own journal writing remains yours.
Writing and your account
Can I listen to music or Scripture?
Choose Music & listening from Today, Library, or the account menu for gentle piano. Open a drawn card and select Hear the chapter for human Scripture narration. A compact player stays available as you move around the app. Tap its title for seeking, volume, reading speed, repeat music, and a 5–30 minute stop timer. Music and narration take turns, so two recordings do not play over each other. Nothing autoplays. Playback stops when you sign out. Audio currently requires a connection; background or lock-screen playback depends on your browser and device.
Music & listeningDo I have to write to finish?
No. You can read and pray, then finish without a journal entry. You can also use Journal independently for a prayer, a moment of gratitude, or an honest reflection.
How do I know my words are saved?
Look for Saved to your account. New drafts sync as you write; edits to existing reflections need Save changes. Pending writing is also protected on this device when browser storage is available. After reopening, sign in with the same account, open the device copy, and choose Restore this draft. If the app or account cannot load while offline, reconnect first; this is draft recovery, not a fully offline app. If two versions conflict, Me lets you review both. A device backup warning means you should keep the page open or export. Clearing site data or using private browsing may remove device copies.
How do I sign out, change my password, or delete my account?
Open Me. Sign out is next to your email, Change password is under account security, and Delete account is at the bottom. On desktop, Sign out is also in the account menu. Export your writing before deletion if you want to keep it.
Is Daypsalm paid?
The current release is free and does not collect payment details or start a subscription. Any future paid offering will clearly describe its price, benefits, and cancellation process before purchase.
