A card is an invitation
Choosing a card makes a quiet moment tangible. It does not predict the future, determine God’s will for a decision, or assign a good or bad outcome to your day. Read the passage in its context and take time to consider it.
Scripture and reflection are kept distinct
Scripture comes from the World English Bible, a public domain English translation. Each card includes a reference and access to the surrounding chapter. Original reflections, prayers, and practical prompts are labeled separately from Scripture.

Reviewed before publication
Our initial collection contains 30 reflections prepared with AI assistance and reviewed for publication. Published cards keep their original version. We can withdraw a card if a substantive error or source issue is found. Please contact us with the card title and passage reference if something needs attention.
Your own words stay your own
Your private journal is not sent to an AI system for interpretation. Writing is optional. You can export your records, remove an entry, or delete your account.
Part of a life of faith
Daypsalm supports personal reflection. It does not replace a church community, pastoral care, or the sacramental practices of your tradition. The private confession prompt is a writing aid, not sacramental absolution.
